Testimonials

E&A have a work hard, play hard attitude. My lessons with Enrique are always enjoyable and full of knowledge. I love Enrique's personality and attitude on the competition floor as it makes me feel I can relax and have fun. I feel like I am safe in his hands

- Nadia (Long term pro/am student)

I get a lot of knowledge out of my lessons and I love the opportunity that I am provided, to dance with someone who can help me dance to my full potential.

E&A's international experience and knowledge helps me grow & to develop as a dancer.

What Enrique & Amy are achieving in their partnership both internationally and nationally is inspiring and motivates me to work harder so I can have the same experiences and opportunities

- Maja (Pro/am Student)

Amy gives me security, more confidence at a competition. I know that I will always be looked after on the dance floor.

Amy pushes me to always be better and take on new dancing experiences.

Amy knows the dance community, people who love dance and enjoys building up the social circles

- Geoffrey (Pro/Am student)

It is an honour to have the opportunity to coach Amy & Enrique.  A truly dedicated partnership committed to the demands of Latin American dancesport at the highest level.  Whom, with a mountain of obstacles to challenge them have demonstrated (on so many occasions) their will and determination to want to succeed both physically and mentally.

They hold a wealth of talent between them and I love and admire most their openness to be forever learning, forever achieving and forever giving what it takes to be excellent leaders in their field and, respected ambassadors for their country of New Zealand.  Absolute stars

- Karen Hardy (multi time world champion, BBC Strictly Come Dancing Winner)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Do I need any previous dance experience to join?

No experience is required! We welcome dancers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced competitors. Our classes are tailored to suit your skill level and goals.

2. What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Ideally tidy Ballroom Latin Practice wear. For shoes, dance shoes are ideal, but if you don't have them yet, comfortable socks or smooth-soled shoes are perfectly fine.

3. Do I need a partner for lessons?

No partner? No problem! We offer both private and group classes where you can dance solo or with a rotating partner. If you have a partner, you’re welcome to take lessons together.

4. How do I book a class or lesson?

Booking is easy! Simply visit our website or contact us directly to schedule a private lesson or book a spot in one of our group classes. You can also check availability and book directly online.

5. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a full lesson charge. If we need to cancel or reschedule, we’ll provide as much notice as possible and offer the next available appointment.

6. Are there any age restrictions for classes?

Dance is for everyone! We offer classes for all age groups, from young children (Mini Movers) to adults. There’s no age limit for getting started!

7. How long are the classes?

Group classes typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour, while private lessons can be scheduled for 30 minutes (free trial), 45 minutes, or 1 hour based on your preference and availability.

8. Can I take private lessons if I’m in a group class?

Absolutely! Many of our students choose to combine group classes with private lessons for more personalised instruction. Private lessons can help you focus on specific techniques, choreography, or areas where you want to improve.

9. What are the benefits of dancing?

Dancing is an excellent way to improve physical fitness, coordination, and mental focus while having fun! It also boosts confidence, enhances posture, and is a great way to meet new people and connect with others.
